Curtsy Mary Jane shoes combine the classic strap-and-buckle silhouette with a chunky lug sole and a low 4 cm block heel. Handcrafted in Poland from plant-based grape leather (Vegea®), made from wine industry leftovers: vegan, with no animal materials anywhere in the shoe.

The upper is cut from plant-based grape leather (Vegea®), made from wine industry leftovers, soft from the first wear and built to last. Each pair is handmade in artisan workshops in Poland and comes with a 2-year warranty and 14-day returns. We ship worldwide with duties and taxes included (DDP).

Yes. The adjustable buckle strap lets you fine-tune the fit across the instep, whether your feet are narrower or fuller.
What are Curtsy Mary Janes made of?
The upper is vegan grape leather by Vegea®, created from grape skins left over from winemaking. The lining and insole are vegan too.
Are they comfortable for a full day?
Yes: the 4 cm block heel, stable lug sole and cushioned insole make them an easy all-day shoe, from lectures to late dinners.

These shoes were made in a local Polish manufacturer in the south of Poland according to the principles of sustainable production, which is a guarantee of attention to every detail and the highest quality workmanship.

We ship available models within 2-5 business days. We ship custom-made models up to 9 business days.
Shipping of each model is duty free, and delivery options are FEDEX courier. You can return your order within 14 days. Return label is also paid by the client.

Vegea® grape leather
This is a sustainable vegan skin based on waste from the wine industry and bioPU.

Desserto® Cactus Leather
Cactus leather is a sustainable vegan leather created from Opuntia Nopal cactus and bioPU. Cactus leather meets the most stringent quality and environmental standards. Desserto® cactus leather is also partially biodegradable.
Certificates: PETA, V-Label, ISO, USDA Organic, Agricert. Standard-compliant production UE REACH and California Prop 65.
Viridis® Corn leather
Like many other vegan plant-based leathers, corn leather is a high-quality, innovative material which is partially made from plant waste. As with all other vegan materials, corn leather was designed as a less harmful and more sustainable alternative to animal skin.
