BOHEMA women's vegan boots are made in Poland by skilled craft workshops from plant-based leather: Desserto cactus leather from Mexico and Vegea grape leather from Italy, not synthetic PU or PVC. Ankle boots, Chelsea, combat, cowboy, workers and high boots, sizes 36 to 42, from EUR 189 to EUR 269. Duties and taxes are included for every country we ship to.
BOHEMA grew from the craft of Sebastian's parents: Edward, a master shoemaker with 30 years of experience, and Halina, a seamstress. A Polish family brand with roots in Kolbuszowa and headquarters in Warsaw.
Vegan ankle boots and booties
Our best-selling ankle boots are the Workers No. 2 and Workers No. 3 (lace-up, lug sole, cactus or grape leather, 8 colours) and the Swan No. 1 (clean minimal boot in black or white cactus leather). All three sit at the ankle, take a thick sock in winter and pair with jeans, dresses and wide trousers. Vegan Chelsea, combat and cowboy boots
Chelsea boots (Squared Chelsea, Tiger Chelsea, Chelsea Riot) come with an elastic side panel and a square or rounded toe. Combat boots have a lace-up shaft and a lug sole for wet pavements. Are vegan boots warm enough for winter?
Cactus and grape leather block wind and light rain like animal leather does. The lining is breathable textile and the sole is rubber, so BOHEMA boots are made for autumn and mild winter in cities, not for snow trekking. Are BOHEMA vegan boots durable?
Yes. Desserto and Vegea both pass the European furniture-leather durability standard (over 50,000 rub cycles in the Martindale test). With basic care a BOHEMA boot lasts several seasons of regular wear. Plant-based leather softens with wear but does not stretch out of shape the way animal leather can.
Are vegan boots waterproof?
Water-resistant, not fully waterproof. Cactus and grape leather shed light rain and slush. In heavy rain, treat them like animal leather: dry away from heat and apply a plant-based protector. The rubber sole keeps feet dry from below.
How do I care for plant-based leather boots?
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap when dirty. Apply a plant-based leather cream every 2 to 3 months. Air-dry away from direct heat or sun. Store with boot shapers or rolled-up paper inside the shaft to keep the form.
What sizes are available and do they run true?
European sizing 36 to 42. True to size for most feet. If you are between sizes, size up: plant-based leather softens but does not stretch much. Returns are accepted within 14 days if the fit is wrong.

Do you ship to the UK, the US and Canada with duties included?
Yes. We ship worldwide with duties and taxes included (DDP), so there are no surprise fees at your door. EU: 2 to 4 working days. UK: 3 to 6 working days. US and Canada: 5 to 8 working days. Returns: 14 days from delivery; outside the EU the customer covers return shipping. Boots must be unworn, in original packaging.
