Classic Worker Boots made from plant-based leather. The flexible, comfortable sole makes them perfect for long walks in the city, the forest, or everyday wear. These minimalist boots pair effortlessly with trousers, dresses, elegant coats, or puffer jackets.
About the Material
Made from Vegea grape leather (Italy). Grape marc from Italian wine industry (skins and seeds) transformed into supple leather alternative. 55-65% biobased. Slightly matte finish, holds shape well through structural stress points. Tested 50,000+ Martindale rub cycles.
About BOHEMA
BOHEMA is a Polish family brand founded in 2018 by Sebastian and Wioletta Wiertel. Our shoes are handmade in Poland from plant-based leather: part of the models in our own family workshop in Kolbuszowa, the rest in skilled Polish craft workshops. Three generations, one story, small batches.
Care
Wipe with damp cloth and mild soap when dirty. Apply a plant-based leather cream every 2-3 months. Air dry away from direct sun or heat. Store with shoe trees or rolled paper inside to keep shape.
Sizing & Fit
BOHEMA uses European sizing 35-42. True to size for most feet. If between sizes, size up half — plant-based leather softens with wear but does not stretch significantly.

EU shipping 2-4 working days. UK 3-6 days. US 5-8 days. 14-day returns from delivery. Boots must be unworn, in original packaging.

These shoes were made in a local Polish manufacturer in the south of Poland according to the principles of sustainable production, which is a guarantee of attention to every detail and the highest quality workmanship.

We ship available models within 2-5 business days. We ship custom-made models up to 9 business days.
Shipping of each model is duty free, and delivery options are FEDEX courier. You can return your order within 14 days. Return label is also paid by the client.

Vegea® grape leather
This is a sustainable vegan skin based on waste from the wine industry and bioPU.

Desserto® Cactus Leather
Cactus leather is a sustainable vegan leather created from Opuntia Nopal cactus and bioPU. Cactus leather meets the most stringent quality and environmental standards. Desserto® cactus leather is also partially biodegradable.
Certificates: PETA, V-Label, ISO, USDA Organic, Agricert. Standard-compliant production UE REACH and California Prop 65.
Viridis® Corn leather
Like many other vegan plant-based leathers, corn leather is a high-quality, innovative material which is partially made from plant waste. As with all other vegan materials, corn leather was designed as a less harmful and more sustainable alternative to animal skin.

What material are the Workers No. 2 Black boots made of, and how do they feel for everyday wear?
The Workers No. 2 Black boots are made from Desserto cactus leather, a material that looks and feels like classic leather. It's soft from the very first wear, pleasant to the touch and very easy to care for. BOHEMA hand-sews them in Poland, in skilled workshops, which results in solid finishing and long-lasting wear.
Do the Workers No. 2 Black boots fit wide feet or a high instep?
Workers No. 2 Black has a boxy toe and a straight shaft line, making it suitable for both standard and slightly wider feet. The Desserto material gradually moulds to the shape of your foot over time. For very wide feet or an exceptionally high instep, it's worth choosing one size up to feel comfortable from day one.
How do you care for the Workers No. 2 Black boots so they look good for a long time?
After each wear, simply wipe the shoes with a damp cloth and leave them in a well-ventilated spot away from radiators. For regular care, a cream or balm designed for vegan and synthetic leathers, free of harsh solvents, works best. This kind of conditioning keeps the material supple and preserves the depth of the black colour for a long time.
