About the Material
Made from Desserto cactus leather (Mexico). Nopal cactus leaves harvested every 6-8 months without damaging the plant, dried in sun, blended with biobased polymers. 74% biobased, USDA Bio-Preferred, PETA-Approved Vegan at material level. Soft hand feel, water-repellent.
About BOHEMA
BOHEMA is a Polish family brand founded in 2018 by Sebastian and Wioletta Wiertel. Our shoes are handmade in Poland from plant-based leather: part of the models in our own family workshop in Kolbuszowa, the rest in skilled Polish craft workshops. Three generations, one story, small batches.
Care
Wipe with damp cloth and mild soap when dirty. Apply a plant-based leather cream every 2-3 months. Air dry away from direct sun or heat. Store with shoe trees or rolled paper inside to keep shape.
Sizing & Fit
BOHEMA uses European sizing 35-42. True to size for most feet. If between sizes, size up half — plant-based leather softens with wear but does not stretch significantly.

EU shipping 2-4 working days. UK 3-6 days. US 5-8 days. 14-day returns from delivery. Boots must be unworn, in original packaging.

These shoes were made in a local Polish manufacturer in the south of Poland according to the principles of sustainable production, which is a guarantee of attention to every detail and the highest quality workmanship.

We ship available models within 2-5 business days. We ship custom-made models up to 9 business days.
Shipping of each model is duty free, and delivery options are FEDEX courier. You can return your order within 14 days. Return label is also paid by the client.

This is a sustainable vegan skin based on waste from the wine industry and bioPU.

Desserto® Cactus Leather
Cactus leather is a sustainable vegan leather created from Opuntia Nopal cactus and bioPU. Cactus leather meets the most stringent quality and environmental standards. Desserto® cactus leather is also partially biodegradable.
Certificates: PETA, V-Label, ISO, USDA Organic, Agricert. Standard-compliant production UE REACH and California Prop 65.
Viridis® Corn leather
Like many other vegan plant-based leathers, corn leather is a high-quality, innovative material which is partially made from plant waste. As with all other vegan materials, corn leather was designed as a less harmful and more sustainable alternative to animal skin.

The Workers No. 2 White boots are made from cactus leather, which has a structure and durability close to classic grain leather. The material is soft from the very first wear, needs no long break-in period, and holds its shape well. These boots are handmade in Poland in skilled workshops, so the quality of craftsmanship is excellent.
Are the Workers No. 2 White boots suitable for winter wear? What does the 'Insulated +49 PLN' option mean?
The basic version is a three-season boot, perfect for spring, autumn and milder winters. The 'Insulated' option, available for an extra 49 PLN, adds a thermal lining that provides comfort on colder days. If you plan to wear them mainly in low temperatures, it's worth choosing the insulated version.
