The uppers are made of Viridis® corn leather, a next generation plant-based material developed in Italy by Panama Trimmings, one of the most respected accessory and material houses in the country. Viridis® is built on roughly 74% biobase content, derived from non-food corn that is converted into dextrose-based fibers and engineered into a soft, supple leather alternative. Instead of relying on animal hides or petroleum-heavy synthetics, this material takes a plant feedstock and turns it into a high-performance surface that is naturally breathable, scratch resistant and quick to break in. Viridis® carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which guarantees the absence of harmful substances, and it has earned the USDA BioPreferred designation for verified bio-based content. The result is a vegan leather that feels closer to fine European craft than to plastic. Yes. The Twin Mary Jane Black is 100% vegan. The uppers are made of Viridis® corn leather, the lining is plant-based, the glues are vegan certified and no animal products are used at any stage of production.
What is Viridis® corn leather?
Viridis® is an Italian plant-based leather alternative made by Panama Trimmings from non-food corn. It contains around 74% biobase, is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and USDA BioPreferred certified, and offers a soft, flexible feel that wears in beautifully over time.
How do I clean corn leather?
Wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth and a drop of mild soap if needed. Air-dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Every few months, apply a thin layer of plant-based leather balm to keep the material supple. Avoid soaking, machine washing and harsh chemical cleaners.
What sizes are available?
The Twin Mary Jane Black is available in EU sizes 36 to 42. The fit is true to size, so we recommend ordering your usual size. If you are between sizes, the double strap closure allows you to fine-tune the fit.
Are these comfortable for narrow or wide feet?
Yes. The double strap closure adjusts independently across the instep, so the shoe holds a narrow foot securely without gaping and gives a wider foot enough room without pinching. Many of our customers with bunions or wider forefeet love this model for that reason.

These shoes were made in a local Polish manufacturer in the south of Poland according to the principles of sustainable production, which is a guarantee of attention to every detail and the highest quality workmanship.

Shipping of each model is duty free, and delivery options are FEDEX courier. You can return your order within 14 days. Return label is also paid by the client.

Choosing the right size is a key element when selecting shoes. Sizes slightly differ between individual models. To choose the best shoe size for yourself, we recommend measuring your foot length according to the instructions on the website before purchase and selecting the most suitable size from the size chart available under each product.
